THE ROTTING LEGACY

Formed in the festering bowels of Paris in 1996, Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition has spent nearly three decades pulverizing eardrums with their relentless grinding brutality. These veterans of sonic violence have vomited forth 7 full-length albums of gore-drenched auditory torture.


The band first contaminated the French underground scene through their split tape with "Infected Pussy" in 1997 before spreading their filth internationally with Brazilian grind-freaks ROT (split CD in 1998) and Lymphatic Phlegm (split 7'' EP in 2000). Their eponymous album produced by French label "Bones Brigade" in March 2001 consolidated the band's fame even in the most notorious metal press including Hard Rock magazine, Metallian, Hard N Heavy, and Legacy.

The studio album "II" produced by Osmose Productions in 2003 was followed by a devastating month-long tour across the United States. The band continued their sonic assault with the split 7'' EP of the "Slimewave GoreGrind Serie" produced by US label "Relapse Records" in 2006, then the album "Inventory Of Fixtures" produced by Czech label "Bizarre Leprous Productions" in 2007.

Their evolution continued with "Sheep 'n' Guns" recorded in 2011, which incorporated elements of crust punk while maintaining their core gore-grind foundation. The 2017 release "Raping Angels in Hell" on German label "Animate records" marked a return to their porno gore roots, pushing their blood-soaked lyrical and musical depravity to new levels of sickness.
