Sinister, the Dutch death metal legends, are set to embark on their Australia/Asia tour. Thanks to coverage in Chinese magazines in the early 2000s, Sinister became one of the first Dutch death metal bands to reach Chinese audiences. The era featuring vocalist Rachel left an especially profound impression on those newly discovering extreme music.
Formed in the late 1980s, during Death Metal's formative period, Sinister played a foundational role alongside Pestilence, Asphyx, and Gorefest, establishing the Netherlands as a core region for the genre alongside Sweden, Florida, and England.
While maintaining headline positions at various metal festivals, Sinister has consistently toured Europe, North America, and Latin America. Their live presence has been particularly active over the past three years.

Late this month, Sinister will launch their "Darkness Before Dawn" Asia and Australia tour. Over twenty days, they'll journey from the Middle East across the equator, finally turning towards East Asia. Notably, they'll make their Chinese debut under Huang Quan Records / Zhen's Wardrobe's arrangement!
Joining them in Shanghai/Tianjin will be Japan's death metal veterans Subconscious Terror, who have been actively releasing material and performing live for the past five years following their reorganization. With different local support for each show: Mvltifission (Chinese: 多重裂变) and Holokastrial (Chinese: 屠戮折狱) performing in their respective cities.
